The Feature

It started at the matinee.

  1. 01The meeting
The couple, on the trail where they met

We met in the back row of a Double Indemnity revival at the New Beverly — Olivia stayed for the credits, James stayed because she did. We argued about the ending on the sidewalk until midnight and never stopped.

  2. 02The proposal
    A quiet moment, hands held

Eight years later, our ticket stubs fill a shoebox. James proposed in the projection booth of an old palace on Broadway, right at the reel change. So that's where we'll shoot the best scene we've got — with all of you in the house.

  3. 03The vow
Consider this the premiere of the one picture we never want to end.

Reel 8 / 8Production Notes

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire with a premiere-night lean — velvet, a little shine, whatever you'd wear for your close-up. The whole evening is indoors on carpet, so heels are safe.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation names everyone with a seat in the house. If you have a question about your party, reach out — we're happy to check the list.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but this screening is rated adults-only so everyone can stay for the late show.

What's the plan for weather?

It's Los Angeles in September, and the whole day runs under one roof anyway. Rain would be a plot twist.

When should I RSVP by?

Please reply by August 1, 2026 — that's when we lock the seating chart, the meals, and the final cut of the guest list.
