With their families, by the sea

Olivia & James

Our Story

Same boat, ever since.

Amalfi Coast, Italy · September 14, 2026

The couple on the terrace, the sea behind

We met on the last ferry out of Salerno — Olivia sketching the coastline, James pretending he wasn't reading over her shoulder. By Amalfi we'd traded seats. By Positano we'd traded numbers, and the sketch went home with him.

Seven years later, we still come back every June for the lemons and the long lunches. It's where James proposed, on the terrace at Ravello, just before the evening boats came in. So it's where we'll say it out loud — with all of you there.

A quiet detail from the day
Think of it less as a wedding, more as a long weekend by the water with vows in it.

Good to Know

Questions, answered

What should I wear?

Summer cocktail attire — linen and light colors are very welcome. The terraces are stone and stepped, so flat or low shoes will treat you far better than heels.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation names everyone we've saved a seat for. If anything about your party looks off, write to us — we're happy to sort it out.

Are kids welcome?

We adore your small ones, but with the cliffs and the late hours this is an adults-only weekend by the sea.

What's the plan for weather?

September here is kind, but the loggia is our backup a few steps in. Rain or shine, we marry by the water.

When should I RSVP by?

Please reply by August 1, 2026 — ferries, tables, and headcounts on the coast all take planning ahead.
