Together in Clerkenwell, EC1, with the people they love most.

The leadFolio 01

Two columns, one spine.

We met over a spilled case of 12-point Caslon at an evening letterpress class on Clerkenwell Green — Olivia sorting, James apologising. By the end of the night we'd set one line together and argued, happily, about the kerning.

Six years on, we still keep Thursdays for the studio: one press, two aprons, tea going cold on the stone. James proposed with a single line locked in the chase — she said yes before he'd even pulled the proof. This is the announcement.

No corrections in tomorrow's edition. We set this one in lead, and lead is final.

Questions answered

Dress, guests, weather, and the reply date.

What's the dress code?+

Lounge suits and good dresses — ink-dark colours welcome, black tie not required. The Press Hall floor is Victorian stone and the yard is cobbled, so choose heels accordingly.

Can I bring a plus-one?+

Your invitation carries the full byline — everyone we've set a place for is named on it. If your line looks wrong, write to us and we'll check the proof together.

Are kids welcome?+

We're very fond of your small people, but this is an adults-only edition — partly the wine, mostly the machinery.

What's the plan if it rains?+

It's London in September, so we've planned on it: everything happens indoors bar the yard, and the yard has awnings.

When should I RSVP by?+

By 1 August 2026, please — that's our print deadline for seating, meals, and the order of service.
