Intimate images shared without consent
If a Wedding site shows an intimate image of you, or of someone you are authorized to act for, that was shared without consent, email hello@thecordiallyinvited.com with the subject “Intimate image removal.” Please include:
- your name and how we can reach you;
- the Wedding address and enough detail to find the image, such as where it appears on the page;
- a brief statement that you believe in good faith the image was published without consent; and
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
We remove the image within 48 hours of receiving a valid request and make reasonable efforts to find and remove identical copies on the service. You do not need to send us the image itself. Sexual content involving a minor is removed immediately and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Copyright notices
We respond to notices of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). Send notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, Crafted Kit LLC
Email: hello@thecordiallyinvited.com
A notice must include:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them;
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- identification of the material you want removed and enough information to locate it, such as the Wedding address and where it appears;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and let the couple who posted it know. Wedding photographers: if a couple is using your photos beyond what your contract allows, we encourage you to contact them too, as many of these issues are resolved directly.
Counter-notices
If material you posted was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and
- your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or an agent of that person.
We forward valid counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers
We keep a record of valid copyright notices. In appropriate circumstances, we terminate the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated valid notices.
